What we offer
Ghar Bandhu sends a verified home helper to your home in Mumbai for the hours you book. Maid service is priced per hour: ₹150 for the first hour, ₹50 more for the second hour and ₹100 more for each hour after that. See the pricing page.
What a visit covers
This is the full list. Anything not listed as included is not part of the visit.
House cleaning
- Sweeping and mopping floors of all rooms, hall and kitchen
- Balcony and entryway sweep
- Collecting household waste into your dustbin
- Unsafe or inaccessible areas
- Any task that needs a ladder
- Moving furniture
- Anything outside the home
Dusting
- Dusting and wiping furniture, shelves and the outside of wardrobes
- Wiping tables, counters and decor
- Wiping window sills and the outside of appliances
- Ceilings
- Fragile items
Bathroom
- Washing and scrubbing the bathroom floor and tiles
- Cleaning the wash basin, taps and mirror
- Cleaning the toilet seat and commode
- Anything electrical
- Drain unclogging
- Hard stain removal
- Acid wash
- Ceilings
Laundry
- Loading clothes into your washing machine and running a cycle
- Hanging washed clothes to dry
- Folding dry clothes
- Ironing
- Cleaning the washing machine
- Footwear
Dishes
- Washing daily utensils: plates, glasses, cookware
- Wiping the sink and kitchen platform afterwards
- Handling broken glass

- • Everything is done within the hours you book. For a longer list, book more hours.
- • Cooking, child care and elder care are separate services, not part of a Maid visit.
Booking and payment
Please book at least 3 hours ahead. When you choose a time we hold it for 20 minutes while you pay by UPI. If payment is not made in that time the slot is released.
After paying, you enter the 12-digit UPI reference number. We check it against our account and confirm your booking on WhatsApp. A booking is confirmed only after that message.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel any time from your booking status page. If you cancel at least 12 hours before your slot, it is free and you get a full refund of what you paid.
If you cancel later than that, the first hour is not refundable and the rest is refunded. Refunds go back to the UPI account you paid from, and we will message you on WhatsApp when it is done.
If we have to cancel or cannot send a helper, you get a full refund or a new time of your choice.
If something is not right
Message us on WhatsApp and we will make it right, whether that is a follow-up visit or a talk with your helper about what needs to change.
